Tukad Cepung waterfall

Also known as the “hidden waterfall” and is located in the village of Tembuku, north east of Bangli.

The road leads from the parking area to a nice path through a green forest, there is a stream of water on the side and it is really a nice and easy walk until you reach the stairs which will lead you down to the waterfall and here you should be more careful, especially for the uneven stairs it is quite the hike but it is worth it because it is a beautiful place.

When you come down for sure you will get wet feet as there is a shallow stream of water and you end up in some kind gorge with at the end of this gorge a kind of cave but the strange thing is that the cave is open at the top. You have to crawl underneath a large rock to get there but it is worth the trouble as it is very beautiful, especially because of the sunlight that shines through the cave. The other side is a stream as the water has to go somewhere.

What goes down must also go up again and the climb up is a tough one, partly due to the wet shoes and the uneven stairs, but it is a beautiful area.

Tukad Cepung entrance fee is IDR 30.000, the parking fee is free for any vehicle.
