Negara
Most of West Bali is covered by the Jembrana regency, with Negara serving as its capital city. The center of Negara features a lively local market and major government buildings, surrounded by a network of small, traditional villages. Unlike other parts of Bali, Negara is primarily a local city with a distinct Muslim cultural influence, anchored by a grand mosque in the heart of the city center.
Running directly through the heart of the region is the main Denpasar-Gilimanuk highway. This road creates a beautiful geographic divide: the ocean side is lined with authentic fishing villages, while the inland side opens up to expansive farmland and stretched-out rice fields. This roadside corridor has seen modern development recently, now offering travelers an array of contemporary eateries, local warungs, and trendy coffee shops.
While traditionally quiet, the regional government is actively promoting tourism here by highlighting areas with incredible potential. These include the cultural enclave of Palasari, the bustling fishing port of Pengambengan, and Perancak Village with its turtle conservation center. For coastal travelers, Medewi Beach is a well-known hotspot for surfers, while neighboring Pantai Pulukan has rapidly become a major place of interest.

Belimbingsari
This is a unique award-winning eco-tourism village located within the Jembrana region. Its main features are a beautiful blend of Christian faith and traditional Balinese culture, lush green cacao plantations, and the stunning Pniel Church, which is famous for its intricate temple-style architecture.
Bunut Bolong
This is a unique sacred landmark located in Manggisari Village. Its main features are a giant, centuries-old banyan tree with a natural tunnel running straight through its center, beautiful hillside shrines, and sweeping views of lush clove plantations.
Rambut Siwi temple
This is a historic, sea-facing Hindu temple complex located in Yehembang Kangin Village. Its main features are a cliffside location overlooking black-sand beaches, ancient stone shrines and a sacred relic chamber housing a holy lock of hair from an ancient priest.
The harbour of Pengambengan
This is a bustling coastal fishing port located in Pengambengan Village. Its main features are hundreds of brightly colored traditional fishing boats, a vibrant seaside seafood market, and expansive panoramic views of the Bali Strait.
Kurma Asih Turtle Conservation Centre, Perancak
This is an important marine wildlife sanctuary located in Perancak Village. Its main features are a dedicated sea turtle hatchery, interactive educational exhibits, and public baby turtle release programs along the scenic coastline.
Nirwana Garden
This is a scenic agritourism destination located in Dauhwaru Village. Its main features are lush flower gardens, panoramic views of green hills and rice fields, photo spots, a restaurant, a family-friendly waterpark and a place where you stay the night.

Tenun Jembrana
“This is a vibrant cultural workshop and heritage center located in Pendem Village. They do demonstrations of traditional handloom weaving, an extensive collection of authentic local songket and cagcag fabrics, and an interactive handicraft market.
Makepung races
This is a cultural festival held across various villages like Delod Berawah, Kaliakah, and Tuwed. Its main features are hundreds of pairs of brightly decorated water buffaloes pulling wooden carts, daredevil jockeys racing down dirt tracks, and high-speed festive energy to celebrate the annual rice harvest.
Gelar River
This is a scenic, refreshing river destination located in Batuagung Village. Its main features are crystal-clear mountain water, an iconic red suspension bridge, and exciting river rafting adventures surrounded by lush green hills.
Bendungan Benel
This is a scenic reservoir and artificial lake located in Manistutu Village. Its main features are a massive water embankment providing vital irrigation, a calm lake resembling a natural lagoon, and a peaceful surrounding ring of dense tropical rainforest.
