Pupuan

In the area of Pupuan you can find the most beautiful rice terraces, they grow coffee in the hills. In the village of Pupuan there is a small Buddhist Monastery, the Vihara Dharma Giri, which is definitely worth a visit. It is a place of total silence and it is a very relaxing place.

At the entrance there is a small donation requested and you can borrow a sarong which you need to wear when the legs are visible. It is not a big place, so the visit does not have to take long time, but it is certainly worth the visit.
It is a small monastery and has a landscaped garden with some nice statues and beautiful flowers.

But the main thing is the statue of the sleeping Buddha located on the higher part of monastry which is pretty impressive.
