Pantai Penimbangan (PP)

Pantai Penimbangan (also known as the PP) is an area, like a strip, along the ocean but there is no real beach, it is an area with many warungs and restaurants on the seaside. It is a kind of nightlife area for local people known and it is just outside Lovina. There is hardly a sandy beach here but it is more like a road that runs along the sea and it is accessible from the main road. From the main road you turn left at the Panji traffic lights (coming from Lovina) and after a short while there is an entrance fee check point here you pay (2.000 rp) and you can drive on, passing the rice fields and houses of the people who live in this area.

Warung Kasih

Although you have a lot of choice from many warungs here, Warung Kasih comes highly recommended, the food is good and the prices are very local and they have Singaraja beer (if you like beer it is recommended to try this beer).
The warung is on the right side of the road and on the other side of the road along the water, there is a kind of terrace made with tables, it’s all very simple, nice and local, the chairs don’t sit comfortable but the food and the view is amazing.

Warung PP

This warung is located on the east side of the PP. They serve local food for a local price, there is always fresh fish on the menu, fried or grilled. The location is amazing as it on the side of a ricefield, there are comfortable sofas on the side of the warung which gives you a relaxed view over the ricefield. The effect of the sunset on the water in the field is amazing.

The food is really good and for a local price you get fresh fish every day.

The sunset at sea and on the view on the ricefields is stunning.
