The hills around Panji is a great area to do a trekking, this specific trekking is organized and done by Putu and Abdi, two experienced guides who have done it several times, the trekking will start at the Taman Rekreasi Alas Tying Tali in the village of Kedu. For booking contact Putu by Whatsapp +62 (0) 821 4449 3540 or Abdi +62 (0) 819 3654 6555, they both can speak English very well and they are able to give you all the information about the trekking.
The costs of the trekking are 300,000 rp (including transport and lunch), takes about 4 hours (depends a bit on how fast you walk). In case you stay in the Lovina area it is possible to be picked by them but there is a minimum of 2 people needed and the price is per person. The purpose of this trekking is to visit 3 waterfalls, namely Canging, Dedari and Cemara, the last 2 are located higher than the Canging waterfall and for that you need to do some climbing and to be able to do the walk you need to be in good condition.
The trekking starts with a long path through the forest and you see wild pineapple or bamboo.

After a while you leave the forest and suddenly you are surrounded by rice fields and you walk in an area with a beautiful nature.
Along the way you see beautiful flowers and it is so quiet, a few times a scooter passes by and very occasionally you hear a waterfall or walk past a house where the locals greet you friendly. The road is good, sometimes steep but good to do.

After about 1.5 hours of walking you are almost at the first waterfall, but before you are there you have to climb a bit, sometimes there are stairs but often it is not more than a few bamboo poles that act as a bridge. Canging waterfall, a relatively small waterfall with a small pont in front of it, it is also an area where we had the lunch (Ayam goreng, tahu tempe, and tofu), which was very good.
As said Canging waterfall is a small waterfall, to get to the Dedari and Cemara waterfall you have to do some climbing it will require some effort but it was worth the climb.

After lunch it was time to go back, via a different route, there was a lot of climbing and watch out where you walk, over bridges of 4 bamboo poles and then still loose, up to a path of a stone wall along the fast flowing water, this water leads to the electricity plant PLTMH Muara (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mini Hidro).
While walking back you will encounter all kinds of things.

Eventually you come back to the forest and you actually only walk downwards back to the parking place.

The trekking is highly recommended if you want to see the natural beauty of north Bali.
