Padangbai

Padangbai is the harbour in the east of Bali where many boats will leave to go to Lombok and Gili Islands but also to Nusa Penida. The slow ferry will take you to Lombok and the fast boats go to the Gili Islands. There are many boat companies operating from Padangbai if you want to go to Gili Islands, ask your driver/guide to arrange the tickets, in some cases there are hotels who can handle this and also will handle the transport to the harbour. You can also get a ticket with the office of the boat company and obviously online.
Close to Padangbai there are popular diving sites like Blue Lagoon and Bias Tugel.
