Abian Desa rice terrace

It is one of many on Bali and this is one is located in the village of Kedisan (Tegalalang) and these are not the famous terraces of Tegalalang but the Abian Desa rice terrace is located a bit more north. There are many warungs with a view over the rice fields where you can sit and have lunch or a drink. The actual entrance is one level up from the street level, there is a big parking place and the ticket office, the entrance fee is IDR 25.000. It can happen that the rice is harvested and obviously that will give a other look so here is a tip before you go : to make sure if the rice is growing, check on Google Maps and look for the most recent pictures, this way you can see how it looks.
Like everywhere with these kind of ricefields there are swings and ziplines and when you walk around you will find the birdnest where you can take your pictures. Also here it can be pretty busy during the peak season but in the low season it does not get so busy and it is a must visit when you are in the area and although this is close to the Tegalalang rice terrace, our preference would be this rice terrace.

It is a beautiful area when the rice fields are green.

There are some stairs but all good accessible, walk around and see the beauty of the area, it is a great experience.
