Jembong waterfall is a different kind of waterfall than the ones mentioned elsewhere, there is a waterfall but here the water flows down at high speed like a swirling river, Jembong is located in the village of Ambengan and is about 30 minutes driving from Lovina.
There is a small warung which has coffee and soft drinks, the entrance for the waterfall is IDR 50,000 but that is including acces to the cold water pool.

It is located higher in the mountains and on arrival there is a carpark which is free, you have to walk up a little and that is easy only a few stairs, first you will see a swimming pool, the water from the waterfall ends up in the pool and you can swim there as entrance to the pool is included in the entrance fee. As you walk further up the stairs, you hear the water come down at high speed and you see more and more of the waterfall. It is a densely overgrown piece of nature, after a while you come to a kind of bridge that hangs over the running water.

The area is not that big and that makes it well accessible and the waterfall is also pretty nice and gives a nice view of the deeper part from above. If you want to make a nice short trip then this is definitely an option, for example combining with a visit to Singaraja.
