The Buana Eco farm, café and homestay is a nice place to visit in the village of Sanggalangit (Gerogak), a bit remote and there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, so you are somewhat dependent on what they have to offer.
From the main road it’s down a side road, it’s the same road that goes to the Hatten Vineyards (so look out for the Hatten sign) and it’s almost a kilometer drive on a bad road to the entrance.
You can go here for a visit, you can also stay there as they have lovely rooms available.

The eco farm has many animals, especially birds and poultry, chickens, pheasants, silk fowl, guinea fowl and peacocks, part of the chickens roam freely and they are not the kind of chickens you see everywhere in Bali, part of the poultry is in spacious cages, it is a large area and spacious and there is a special breeding program.

There is a room where guests have breakfast, but you can also get coffee or other drinks. There is a pond where fish are grown.

Of course there is staff present and 1 of them speaks good English and she will take you on a tour around the farm.
There is also a large aviary, they have 70 different species of birds from all over Indonesia flying around here.

There is also a possibility to stay there, in the rear part of the farm there are a number of joglos, some for 2 people, but also some where you can stay with 10 people, very spacious with 2 bathrooms, more details about the rooms is on the website.
There is also a swimming pool that you can use.
