This is an artificial lake with a dam that is a bit higher up in the mountains and serves as a water supply for the rice fields irrigation in times of drought, click here for the exact location.
The road up into the mountains is beautiful, unfortunately there were no green rice fields during our visit. The rice is planted again in the rainy season, but you can only imagine what this looks like when it is all green.
It is an impressive lake and structure surrounded by mountains and it is a nice place for a visit, chances are big you will be all there by yourself. A long dam will take you to the other side of the lake.
The area is surrounded by mountains and nature, and apparently there are also some recreational areas where people go to do a picnic.
