Belimbing is one of the traditional Balinese villages situated about 600 meters above sea level in Tabanan Regency. In this area you will find many beautiful rice terraces, coffee plantations and typical Balinese villages. The area is quiet and peaceful and you see many farmers working on the ricefield, the area is ideal for walks and bike rides.
In the picturesque surroundings of Belimbing you can visit not only rice fields but also coffee and cacao plantations.
To see the rice fields we stopped at Warung Made Ayu Kusuma, a warung that also has Gurami (sweet water fish) on the menu. When you sit on the terrace of the warung, enjoying your drink, you have a beautiful view over the rice fields and when you sit there a bit longer you see more and more details, a beautiful place to spend some time! And also nice that here they will not charge extraordinary prices for your drink.
It is also a great place to fly around with a drone which gives you a nice overview of the beautiful rice terrace.
