Located in the hills of the Banjar area in the village of Tegehe, about 25 minutes from Lovina.
It is the largest Buddhist temple on Bali, in Bali they call it the “Brahma Vihara Arama”, it was built in 1969 and has been fully renovated in the last few years. From the temple there is a beautiful view over coastal strip of the north of Bali. The temple is built according to Balinese architecture but by the many statues and details it is really a Buddhist Temple.



Recently, the renovation has been completed and there are new statues and temples and the existing ones were renovated.






In the back of the complex is the small version of the Borobudur, where the real one is located in Yogyakarta area on Java and is used as a meditation room.

It is a peacefull and quiet place, and it is worth a visit.
There is a small entrance fee of IDR 35.000, the sarong, which is required, is available free of charge at the entrance and will be handed to you by the staff.
