Bali Bird Park

The park is located in Batubulan, Gianyar, the price at the ticket office is quite expensive at IDR 385,000 (+/- 22 euros), and it is definitely recommended to buy the tickets online, there are many online services that offer them at a cheaper rate like Klook.
It is a beautifully landscaped park and they advertise with “the birds of paradise”, lots of parrots and cockatoos sitting in a tree, there is a small building that is a kind of incubator with newly born birds and you basically just follow the path, the cages are spacious, there are signs explaining which birds are in the cage.

The Bali Bird Park is 2000 m² and has 250 different bird species, there are bird shows and you can have your picture taken with the parrots on your shoulder, all very fun for children. You basically follow the signs and you go from island to island, birds that are specific to those islands in Indonesia.
There is also a large aviary which you can enter, the staff there will give you some pieces of apple in your hand and the birds will fly to you and sit on your head, shoulder or hand. There are also some other birds walking around and you get different food and they just eat it from your hand.

It is a beautiful park with a lot of beautiful birds, there is a pond with pelicans and it all looks all very good and well taken care off.

There is a restaurant where you can have something to eat and drink under the watchful eye of a cockatoo.
